I have been involved with horses for over 20 years. I started making my own rugs a few years ago, as I was continually frustrated with what was on offer in the market place. I had trouble finding rugs that actually fitted my horses. The neck lines were ill fitting, the drops too short, the quality in general was not there, or, they were just far too expensive.

Designer Stable was born when my friends started asking me to make their rugs, and then encouraging me to make them available to the public. I decided to stock a small standard rug line, enabling me to produce quality, good fitting rugs. If you have a special horse that doesn’t fit the norm and requires a custom made measurement, then I’m happy to accommodate.

Designer Stable is a small independent, 100% Australian owned and operated business and where possible, I purchase only quality Australian made materials and fittings.

Rugging a horse can be expensive business, and my aim is to keep prices as economical as possible for the buyer, and give you value for your money.
